10 Easy Ways to Feel Good About Yourself

1.) smile

Curl one corner of your mouth than the other in an upwards fashion.

2.) walk tall & confident

Accept that others will take notice – it’s okay!  This will give you a chance to practice smiling.

3.) laugh a lot

Lighten your heart.  Laughter activates your body and breath which brings oxygen to the brain.

4.) wear what makes you feel good

Whether its cowboy boots and your favorite T, sweats & sneaks or uptown chic, being true to yourself makes you confident in who you are and what you have to share with the world.

5.) move your body

Run — skip — jump — dance — stretch — play!

6.) exercise your mind

Read, meditate, create.  Ask questions!  Be open to learning and growing.

7.) invest in friendships

Build your team.  Surround yourself with people who inspire you, people you trust, and people you respect and love (and those who share it in return).

8.) make eye contact

Allow yourself to really communicate and connect when talking with others.  You may see things you didn’t notice before about that person or learn something about yourself.  Don’t worry; it’s safe to let your guard down and allow yourself to be seen at the same time. 🙂

9.) give

Share your time and talents with those who could benefit from it.   This should re-energize you not deplete you.  Find your balance.

10.) be kind to yourself and others

We all have goals and time lines and are going through different experiences/challenges – be compassionate with yourself and others on this journey.
