Be Imperfect 99% of the Time
“Remember, the real world doesn’t reward perfectionists. It rewards people who get things done. And the only way to get things done is to be imperfect 99% of the time.” – Marc and Angel Hack Life, “12 Things Successful People Do Differently”
This weekend, practice being imperfect! Take a look at the leaning tower of pisa. What a great work of art. It’s highly celebrated and it’s totally imperfect!
Most of us have been waiting to step into the spotlight, share an idea or ask for help until we are “perfect” or “perfectly ready”. Well, I’ve got news for you! We’ll never be perfect or perfectly ready. So, what are you waiting for? Go for it. Start makin’ moves today.
You can do it!
What is it that you want to accomplish or try? Write it down and take one step in that direction today. My guess is you’re a lot more prepared/qualified/talented/ready than you think you are…
So tell me, (or yourself, or your neighbor, or your dog) what are you going to do today? It doesn’t have to be big – especially if you’ve got some amazing plans for the weekend. Just simply write it down in your journal, on your breakfast napkin, (or below in the comment form) and take one, tiny step – or one, giant leap for the rest of us!

I am going to start a new painting. Great quote…thanks for the inspiration!
Sometimes I want to give up on the things I am working on. I guess I just want to keep going! Thanks for the reminder that we don’t have to be perfect in all we do. I needed that!
Jill, take a photo and share it with us when the painting is finished! Way to go Marci!
I am going to run a 1/2 marathon … Or attempt 😀
Go for it Christine!
i am going to stop drinking caffeine.
