Silver’s Joga jean is the jean you won’t want to take off. Yes, they’re that comfortable.
My sister called me enthusiastically from the mall about her new Silver jeans. She raved about how comfortable they were (she since bought two varieties of the Joga). Some combination of the words “they feel as good as sweatpants” swirled out of her mouth. Anytime someone is that excited about a fashion or beauty product, I have to know why. Silver Jeans Co. provided me with a pair of Joga jeans of my choice to review. Read more about their risk-free purchase option.
If you see me traveling in your city or you happen to be in mine, chances are fair that I’m wearing my Aiko High Skinny Joga Medium Wash Silvers ($78). If I’m going out, they’re paired with heels and a fitted jacket. Time to run errands? I’ll throw them on with big fuzzy winter boots. At the end of the night, I don’t immediately put on my PJs when I get home. Why? They’re soft, stretchy and move with your body.
With the high skinny, they run true to size. My sister first bought the Boyfriend Dark Wash ($88), and mentioned that she bought a size smaller than her usual jean size. I tried ordering a size smaller in the High Skinny, and boy (or more likely girl), were they ever snug at first! Time to hit the gym. Be smarter than me and buy them in your size.
The name of the jean is a bit misleading. When I told my boyfriend about my Joga’s, he was not sold (until he saw me in them). He lived in Europe for five years, and men wore jogger jeans, which are fitted like old-school sweatpants with elastic at the ankle. These definitely aren’t that! Also, if you read the reviews of the jean, a customer mentions they aren’t truly high waist jeans. They are more of a mid-rise, but this should be to no surprise when you order, as you can see the waist in the photo of the model. Speaking of customer reviews, another customer talks about how hers were bulky. Disagree. They are a thin, stretchy material that wears well with the abuse they’ve endured from me.
Every time I put on my Joga’s, I think about fashion trends and how appreciative I am that the low, low, low cut jeans are going out of style. How can you look sexy when your butt crack is hanging out like a plumber? Sexy is feeling comfortable and confident.
